The construction of the new bankruptcy courtroom at the United States Courthouse in Statesville, North Carolina is nearly complete, and the court will conduct its first hearings in the new courtroom on May 8. Therefore, hearings currently scheduled to be conducted at the Johnson J. Hayes Federal Building in Wilkesboro, North Carolina on or after May 8, 2014 will be re-noticed by the court to reflect a hearing location at the United States Courthouse in Statesville. Please be advised that all notices of hearing for court dates on or after May 8 in the Wilkesboro Division should reflect the United States Courthouse in Statesville as the hearing location.

The Wilkesboro ยง 341 meetings in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases originally scheduled for May 5 at the Johnson J. Hayes Federal Building in Wilkesboro will be conducted in the new bankruptcy courtroom on the 1st floor of the United States Courthouse in Statesville located at 200 West Broad Street.
